About this condition
Complete physeal arrest means the growth plate in the right elbow has completely stopped working, which can happen after injury or infection. This causes the arm to stop growing properly on that side, leading to one arm being shorter than the other and possible deformity. Children and teenagers are most affected as their bones are still growing.
