About this condition
This condition occurs when the growth plate near the top of the right thigh bone stops growing prematurely, usually due to injury, infection, or bone disease in childhood. This causes the right leg to become shorter than the left, leading to limping and possible joint problems. Treatment may include limb lengthening surgery or corrective procedures.
