About this condition
This is a type of brain stroke where blood flow to the brain is blocked due to narrowing or blockage in the right vertebral artery, one of the major arteries supplying blood to the back of the brain. When this artery gets blocked, brain cells in that area start dying quickly, leading to stroke symptoms. Immediate medical attention is critical to prevent permanent brain damage or death.
