About this condition
This is an extremely serious stroke where both vertebral arteries supplying blood to the brainstem and back of the brain are blocked. This is more severe than single artery blockage and causes significant damage to critical brain areas. It requires immediate emergency medical care as it can quickly become life-threatening.
