About this condition
Chronic rhinitis is long-term inflammation of the nasal passages lasting more than 12 weeks, causing persistent congestion, mucus discharge, and postnasal drip. It can result from prolonged exposure to irritants, structural problems, or ongoing inflammation without infection. Unlike acute rhinitis, symptoms are continuous and may significantly affect quality of life.
