About this condition
This condition develops when iron oxide particles are inhaled, commonly affecting welders, metal grinders, and foundry workers. Unlike other pneumoconiosis types, siderosis is generally milder and may not cause severe symptoms. Regular monitoring and use of protective equipment can prevent progression.
