About this condition
This is an irritation of the skin caused by direct contact with dyes, but without a clear allergic mechanism. The skin reacts to chemical irritants in dyes found in clothes, henna, or cosmetics, causing redness and discomfort. Unlike allergic dermatitis, this reaction does not involve the immune system and may happen on first exposure.
