About this condition

Type 2 heart attack happens when the heart muscle doesn't get enough oxygen due to conditions like severe anemia, irregular heartbeat, or extremely high or low blood pressure, rather than a blocked artery. Unlike type 1 heart attacks, this occurs when the heart's demand for oxygen exceeds what available blood can supply. It requires immediate medical attention as it can cause permanent heart damage.
