About this condition
This rare inherited immune disorder prevents white blood cells from moving properly to sites of infection, making patients highly susceptible to repeated bacterial and fungal infections. Children with this condition experience frequent, severe infections that heal slowly and may require antibiotics and specialized immune support throughout life.
