About this condition
Hemophilia A is an inherited bleeding disorder where blood cannot clot properly due to lack of clotting factor VIII. Primarily affecting males, it causes prolonged bleeding after injuries or spontaneous bleeding into joints and muscles, requiring lifelong management with factor replacement therapy.
