About this condition

Galactorrhea is the inappropriate production of breast milk unrelated to normal breastfeeding. It can occur in women who are not pregnant or nursing, and rarely in men. Common causes include hormonal imbalances, medications, or pituitary gland issues requiring medical evaluation.
