About this condition

Arcuate uterus is a mild variation in the shape of the womb where the top inner surface has a small dip or indentation instead of being smoothly curved. Many women with this condition have normal pregnancies and never know they have it, though some may face a slightly higher risk of miscarriage or preterm birth. It is usually discovered during ultrasound or imaging tests done for other reasons.
