About this condition
This is the most severe form of generalized epilepsy where seizures cannot be controlled with standard medications and the patient enters a dangerous state of continuous or repeated seizures. This life-threatening emergency requires immediate hospitalization with intensive care to prevent permanent brain damage or death.
