About this condition
Congenital coxa vara is a hip condition present at birth where the angle between the thigh bone and hip is abnormally decreased, causing the leg to appear shorter. Children may develop a limping walk and experience difficulty with normal hip movement. Early orthopedic assessment is important to prevent long-term walking problems.
