About this condition
A typhoid carrier is a person who continues to harbor typhoid bacteria in their body even after recovering from the illness or without ever showing symptoms. These individuals can unknowingly spread the infection to others through contaminated food or water if proper hygiene is not maintained. Regular screening and appropriate antibiotic treatment may be needed to eliminate the carrier state.
