About this condition

This is a life-threatening condition where hernias on both sides of the groin have returned after previous surgery and the trapped tissue has lost blood supply, leading to tissue death. Black or purple discoloration of skin, severe pain, and vomiting are danger signs. Emergency surgery is required immediately to remove dead tissue and prevent fatal complications.
